Hello, anyone got an idea how to get the lid off a stainless grease trap thats been glued down with silicone sealant.

Thought about applying some heat. Anyone got experience of this?

Thanks

agree with watertight silicone will giveway under force, cut most away with knife then use thin screwdriver or similar to prise lid off.
