Hello All

I am a mature ex military person looking for a temporary work placement in and around Manchester / Salford etc.

Basically I have taken a fast track multi skill gas / plumbing course (brookhouse training centre) and now need to complete & record , document 30 gas safe jobs at 30 different properties with a qualified gas safe engineer who can sign off my CITB work records.

Without the CITB port folio complete I am unable to sit the ACS CCN1 practical to become gas safe.

(Unfortunately I fell into the trap of paying good money £7.5k for this fast track course and it is proving difficult to get any on the job experience. Something these training companies don't tell you, they just take your money under a no money refund contract)

I am willing to work for free/unpaid and I don't expect you to give me a full time job once I have completed my port folio.

I don't mind if the work is for few days a week with different gas safe engineers, as long as the work is purely gas safe work.

If you'd like to know more and can genuinely offer me some help, then please get in touch.

Many thanks for taking the time to read.

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
