Hi all, can anyone point me in the direction of free training courses? I'm particularly interested in big brand name boilers etc. I have been out of the heating business for a while and want to upskill on new products.

Thanks

Most of the main manufacturers do they speak to your local reps

Also baxi 3 day course is good

Some of them ask for deposits now but you get it back as long as you attend.

Go onto manufactures websites and they all have forms to apply for courses and tons of information.

Worcester:

Training Courses | Worcester, Bosch Group

Vaillant:

Baxi (Do some good cheap training days):

Training

Viessmann:

Viessmann Installer Portal

Intergas:

Training support - Intergas

Main:

Training centres

Most do free service courses and product information courses, then you can do advanced installer courses which will allow you to offer extended warranties and sometimes discounts on products (don't quote me on this) they usually get back to you pretty fast with enquiries and will answer/show you anything you want.

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

We are from Alberta, and I own an electrical company. I have been asked by a BC Mechanical P. Eng. to install an emergency STOP button at the man-door to the boiler room. It's intent is to 'halt' the operation of the boilers in the room should there be an emergency. He is demanding that I do...
