Hi All,

Just joined the forum in the hope that someone could help with a issue i have wiith a Franke tap which has started to drip. I'm unsure of the exact model, it thought it was the Olympus, but after showing a Franke tap supplier the valve that i removed, they think it came out of a Franke Eiger tap.

My query is that as i thought it was an Olympus tap i went ahead and bought valve for this model, and just wondered if anyone knows if the Franke valves are all the same or if each model has a different valve?

Hope that all makes sense.

Cheers,
Mike.

Clean the ceramic discs first before replacing, can sort the problem in some cases.

If you go to tapoutlet.uk you will be able to see all the Franke taps and confirm which one you have.

As far as I know, there are two types of the standard Franke spindles - the older type which does taps maybe 10 years old & back & the newer spindles - which will probably be what you need. Hot & cold spindles obviously available.
Central Services do them & can advise you if you email them a photo of tap.

Three types

Thanks Gas, I don't doubt you are correct as I think the cheaper basic Franke mixer had different spindles to the "old" versions but strangely some of the non Franke spindles I had, fits them.
I was only told about two types.
