Hi

When should I replace my fga as I've had my anton for about 5-6 years now

I have had mine about that length of time, the only time mine will get changed is when anton can't get parts to fix it lol

Wow - someones got up and out of bed early this morning :p

I've always had Testo's.
Just got a brand new 330-2-LL kit.
Great bits of kit, lots of bells and whistles that don't get used.

However if I ever had to personally pay for them an Anton would do.

I have got a Kane 455 the full kit. Seems alright to me but then again I new to the gas side of things

I've the testo 330 aswell. Ok there bit more expensive but it's not till you've used both that you see the difference. End of the day a 300 quid one will do the job the same . But the bells n whistles are gweed

You are supposed to leave evidence of a O2 reading following an installation of a new appliance. And it's always best practice to leave a paper trail of evidence showing you carry out your dutys correctly

Yeh best practice but doesnt need a printout necessarily.
Paper trail can just mean filling in forms.

I think that the Testo is the best, certainly not cheap, but should last and the spares tend to be available for longer - just typical of most German kit.

If your thinking of getting a 327 then my advice would be go for the 320 or 320b, the coloured screen and new instrument software makes the daily use a treat,,

I originally had Anton can't remember the model but not like the newer Sprint and found it hard to use. Have a Kane 455 and it's so easy to use just turn the dial to what you want, measure and push print. Only thing I don't like is the purge when you turn on its 90s don't seem a lot but I think the Antons are like 30s ?

I used to have a TPI, but last week treated myself to a Kane 455. No particular reason just heard from other people that they're a decent piece of kit....time will tell. !!!

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
