Filling loop on Greenstar Heatslave ii 18/25

Hi

I’m trying to put more pressure into my external oil combo boiler (heatslave ii 1825) but can’t ring the filling loop

The only thing I can see which looks like a braided pipe with 2 black valves is right at the back of the boiler so is pretty much unreachable. So I’m assuming that can’t be it?

Does anyone have any experience of this type of boiler?

Hi

It’s so far back of the boiler behind so many wires that I can’t work get a decent snap

If it is there there is no way I can reach it I reckon

It’s on the back wall pretty much.

Is that how it should be?

That looks more like the pipe to the expansion vessel.

The filling loop should be reasonably accessable.

Same type of braided pipe but in a more obvious place , right under boiler, usually next to a mains cold water supply about 10 inches distance. BUT sometimes they can be elsewhere ...keep,looking you will find it ...let us know

Have you checked the manual? Its not the most helpful as it doesn't say where it is, just that you installer should have shown you, but it does say that the pressure guage is visible from the filling loop which might narrow it down.

Could it be that the braded filling loop hose isn't attached which could be why you can't find it.

Thanks, that may be the case. I was away when installed so flying blind..,will call them in Monday
