Dear all;

I want to export faucet to U.S.A. Is it necessary that I must include UPC / NSF certificate?

If I export faucet to America, is it ok to pass thru the American customs without any lead safety certificate?

Please assist!

Thank you very much!

You're probably best asking that question on a business forum where there are manufacturers/importers and exporters. It's a pretty specialist area and the laws can be pretty complicated not just through customs but as to whether your faucet is approved for US use.

We are a trading company and we exported regulated faucets to Europe regularly. We have already got replies from IAPMO that it is not restricted to have UPC / NSF certificate by U.S. governments to export faucet/sanitary items. These certificates are not required unless they are required by your end customers, such as Home Depot. We can get all toeholds to all kinds of goods very easily, but we are not violating the law here.

Fascinating. Knowing this has enriched my life immeasurably. Thank you for sharing.
