On my 2005 Combo, is it cause for worry? It seems to run fine..

If you see flames while driving- get out quick!!, lol

You should be fine! an old Vivaro of mine did the same when the MAF sensor went, she drove exactly the same for a couple of hundred miles before the mechanic fixed it

mine comes on occasionally for a few miles then goes off again

Oil level or as said the MAF sensor are the two most likely reasons.

loose or rusted earth strap to engine mounting possible sometimes the simplest thing

Put some black insulation tape over it, if you cut the tape with a Stanley you won't even notice it

You must have been a car mechanic B4 you started plumbing, giving out trade secrets have you carried on using black tape ??

Could be the start of something or nothing, get yourself an OBD code reader for twenty quid off fleabay and see.

nah, just pull the fuse out, problem solved.lol

the wifes rav4 has problems of cutting out when hot. 2nd time in garage and still not fixed.
cousin of mine works at toyota says there are 25 temp sensors on it and its one of them!
trouble is which one and half the engine out to test them!!

No mate honest :smile5: worryingly, the minibus we hire for our fishing outings has black tape over the engine management light
And we've only broken down once

Yep, never get a plumber to do electrics...there won't be a fuse on the eml or every plumber would be pulling it before selling on their lemon of a van. :)

Best get a diagnostic at a Toyota garage as they should be able to identify what/where the sensor is with more precision using the latest software.

duff glow plug causes the same, or as said just get it plugged in and see what is wrong

My old Pug 406 had it on all the time. Got matey to check turns out it was the throttle sensor starting to wear out after 330k miles. Didn't do anything and after he reset it it came on again a bit later so ignored it.

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...
