Hi all , i have got to change my emmersion heater and was looking for some advice on what jointing to use please .
Howy

As you will have guessed, there are a number of ways.

2. Silicone grease on the threads of the new element, to make it easier next time.
3. Very thin smear of silicone grease either side of the fibre washer.
4. Do it up tight.
In other words, no jointing!
