Hi, I've recently had problems with two of these. One of them was less than a year old. What sort of reputation do Dudley products have in general, and these in particular if possible. T I A, J

Bought new item, fitted it, problem exactly the same. So not the push button. Research indicates Thomas Dudley has a good reputation. Suggested source of problem is due to scale build up in valve. J

I fit that much Dudley gear I'm well on the way to a Dudley Nike hoody off the profit points :)

The unit, (faultless up till now) is a Niagara pneumatic dual flush. 1 of 2 in a retirement flat, roughly 7 yrs old. The failure is due to a fracture of the shoulder holding the pivot end of the flap over the bellows. I've emailed the company to ask if this type of failure is known to them.

7 years of life for a flush valve is a good life IMO

Bring back proper flushing syphons.Nothing to go wrong that you couldnt cure with a bit of coathanger or a circle cut out of a rubble sack!

7 years? A syphon will work for life!

no money to be made for manufacturers if their products last too long!

I saw a cast flush valve in a high level cast cistern a few weeks ago, almost 100 years old and still goin strong

Be realistic fellers: you can't get high level cast iron cisterns in modern buildings. It's a pity that Thomas Dudley don't have the same high level ( joke ) of good manners. I haven't even had an acknowledgement, from their customer service department. J
