Heating and hot water is not working. Plenty of heating oil. I have replaced batteries in thermostat and it seems to be working ok, showing flame to call for heat, and the receiver seems to be working ok with green light, but heating is just not firing. I really am not sure what the problem is. Have also tried pressing the reset button on the outside boiler - The red reset button was not illuminated at all, and the system did fire up very briefly when I pressed the reset button, but then cut off again.

I am desperate to have heating and hot water back on, as is freezing. Is there anything else I can try, or anything I can do to override the Digistat system, to just get some instant heat for now, until I can get the problem sorted out?

Please help ASAP

I now don't think the problem is with the thermostat - I still have no heating or hot water.

I have an outside oil boiler - Does anybody know how I can bleed this, in case there in an air lock causing the problem?

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
