Does anyone carry out a CP12 on a boiler replacement in a private non rented property ? We are thinking of doing them to cover ourselves. Any comments would be welcomed

You will have tightness tested the installation and your own work should be in line with all current rules/regulations and be bench-marked.

I would generally 'cast' my eye over any other existing appliances, ventilation, what you can see of the installation etc.

Unless the customer has asked you to do a Landlord certificate/inspection, then you have no legal right or responsibility to do it.

What are you thinking of covering yourself for?
