This problem has been happening for ages and drives me mad.
When replying to a post the 'link' button with the red cross on, in the above legend / Icons boxes lights up ( its dull when you start typing )
When it lights up you have to type so slow, you start to nod off, anybody know how turn it off . Thank you

Hi, its done it from day 1 with this brand new pc, never did it with the old one.
The same thing happens on another forum I use.
E-mails, Word etc or anything else is fine.

It sometimes takes so long to reply , I get timed out and have to start again.
Cheers

LOL, no I am not saying its the Forum, as said its since the new pc came. It will be my end, just don't know what it is.

let me guess....youve got norton or macafe installed?

hit alt+cntrl+delete together and check what running processes you have going. its a anti virus at a guess

No thing like that installed just the AVG free one.
Just had some help from a pal on my other well frequented forum, if you hit the Blue A button at the left end, it knocks it off.
I owe him several pints, its driven me mad ..... RESULT

Cheers for your replys

AVG is good but known to be power hungry on smaller laptops.
