I have a 22mm out diameter, 21mm inside diameter pipe made of aluminium. I have a 6mm plastic tube and a 6mm push fit to 1/4inch bsp (male). How can I get the pipe end to adapt to this fitting really really compactly, the only ways I have thought if are too big ( all of this has to go inside a 25mm (Ins dia) pipe and needs to be really small.
Thanks (for air)

tig welded is the only compact way to get it inside of a 25mm sleeve

Get someone to weld an end on the pipe. Then tap it out 1/4bsp. Your fitting will then screw in.

Copper pipes, I think its fair to say, is not what it used to be, the copper is getting thin while the cost is going up. Meanwhile, plastic Pushfit seems to be getting better and better, cost and convenience was always better, but now the quality is to, have we reached a stage where plastic will...
