Co alarms

Alright boys and girls,

after some help/advice. I've not carried out a domestic gas safety for about a year now and just wanted to check, is it now compulsory to have a co detector in rented accommodation or not? And if so classification for not having one.

It's ok just seen its not till October.

It may become law in October, not guaranteed yet.
Also it seems that the alarms will be provided FOC under a government grant.
