Can anyone identify this material?

Both look like asbestos insulated board (AIB) to me. Get a sample of each tested for asbestos before disturbing it.

In practice, you have to assume it's asbestos until a test proves otherwise.

I would advise you proceed very carefully before disturbing or handling this material it looks very much like abestos ??

Left defo azzy right can’t 100% see might be horse hair plaster but could be monkey muck eg azzy
