I cut across a bus lane 3 meter before it ended and have received a fine
Can I put it in my books as an expense?
 
I understand that. But you made the decision to drive into the bus lane knowing that if you did there was a possibility you would get a fine. Personally if you were 3 meters from the end of the lane I would contest it.

It was an accident
 
Do you have an accountant that you can ask? I'm not 100% sure, but if the vehicle is registered to the company then you may be able to.
