Discuss Boiler clock losing time in the Plumbing Jobs | The Job-board area at PlumbersForums.net

Hi
I have a Main Eco Elite boiler which is three years old with a Gassun mechanical clock fitted . The issue I have is that it keeps good time during the day but loses an hour (sometimes two ) overnight !
This is rather strange as if a faulty clock I would expect it to lose time constantly .
Any advice would be most appreciated .
Thank you
