Hi all
I have a job this week and part of it involves a leaking Blanco kitchen mixer tap.I'm wondering if anyone knows if the ceramic cartridges you can get at merchants are universal and ok with this make of unit or if you need to buy the valves from Blanco.
 
sorry but the ceramic cartridges are not universal, you will need make AND model of tap for a replacement.

Contacted them today £30.99 and in the post, may get them middle of November as being sent Royal Mail!!!!LOL

UK Can't get stopcock 100% closed to allow a tap repair
I have a plumber coming tomorrow to change a cartridge on a badly dripping tap on my bathroom mixer unit. There is no separate isolating valve for this tap so I'll have to close the stopcock. I tried closing it today but it won't go absolutely 100% closed and there is still a very slight flow...

Brass tap body is leaking.
I have attached an image of the brass body within a tap. Having replaced a cartridge which has cured a leaking tap, I can see that there is a small leak from the brass body which can be unscrewed. Is there a seal behind the body? Thanks.

Mixer bar fitting solutions?
The fittings below are for a mixer bar attached to a self contained shower. i.e not a wall. The attaching screws have snapped. I could get two new brackets, dismantle that existing one and start again or I could try and re attach via those screws, removing the broken ones from the plate and wall...
