Been asked to price for the rest of the plumbing, as a firm are coming to install the Biomass boiler. Is it just a standard system boiler set up? Are any cylinders suitable or can anyone recommend anything I need to know about them, as have never come across installing one! thanks !!!

only ever came across one which was used as back up aswell as 3 other boilers for the heating, and 2 gas fired unvented cylinders so the heating & hot water were both seperate. This was commercial though.

What is it wood chip or pellet
Any cylinder is fine to use on biomass
But not all suitable for heat pumps
Just plumb it as normal s plan

Iv done a job like that, with a third party fitting biomass. I would arrange a meeting with the client and the installer to ask there requirement. The one I had, I had to take all primaries to a pump station, they had electronic blending valves and were so because of the weather comp system they wanted to use.

Other than that just used standard cylinder and rads, obviously air source would differ due to lower flow temps
