baxi solo he 24 melting electrode wire

Hi

i have a baxi solo he 24 but has started to melt the electrode wire, i just replaced the electrode and the boiler fired up and worked but it started to melt the wires as it goes into the heat exchanger or probe, has anyone else come across this problem?

Unfortuntely we can not comment any further. You will need to seek the services of a local gas safe registered engineer.

Then please stop messing with your boiler, turn it off and get a gsr engineer in

It's common and easily fixed by a gas safe engy
