Hi everyone

I'm just after some advise about the fault I have with my boiler.
The boiler is taking over 5 minutes to fire up no matter which function is selected ie water only or water and heating.

Today an engineer has replaced the diaphragm, which did need replacing anyway and there is no difference in performance but there is to my wallet.

Does anyone have any ideas please?

what did the engineer say about it taking 5 mins to light ?

I wasn't there personally but he said it was the diaphragm that needed changing.
He mentioned a water pump may need replacing as well.

Trying to get hold of him again cause there is no change in performance what so ever :-(

Now it's leaking when the heating is on, there was a massive puddle under it and still no answer from the engineer.
Going to have to call another one out, this is where it gets expensive and awkward .

sounds like a sticking pump pressure switch to me,try and find a better engineer
