A guy I work with today did a gas cert and there was no chain on the cooker, the flue on the boiler was incorrect and there was a 30kw boiler piped up in 15mm. After he gas rated it the boiler came up as 22kw, he rang gas safe and they asked about the flame picture. Then they said about turning the cooker on the same time as the boiler and asked what the flame picture was like to which it was fine so they said it's fine to use. Then they said you don't need to put NCS or AR on the gas safety forms anymore. Can anyone else verify this?

Welcome...

You will need to register properly on here

I registered ages ago I just couldn't remember my password. I didn't ring gas safe a colleague did, he was just surprised they said you only need to put ID's on a gas cert form?? Any NCS's or AR's you don't put them down?? The flue was to close to a adjacent wall by the way. Think he was just checking a few concerns over with gas safe with regards to the property.

i would give a different answer too!!
