Have had enough of the transit custom. im getting rid while it is still worth a decent amount.

very tempted by a traffic with 4 year warranty.

any opinions much appreciated

I've got the new shape Vauxhall vivaro so same van different badge. I've got the 1.6 bi-turbo 120 sportive, it's a Lovely van to drive, good on fuel (getting about 41mpg with all my gear) and pulls well. I had 850kg of floor boards in it the other day and the only thing that felt different was the weight under braking :)

That's the only picture I seem to have of my van hiding in the garage :)

if anyone has one of those vans with the renault engine (vaxhaul, citroen, renault, fiat etc) take the glow plugs out and put copper grease on them as they always seize and snap and cost you to get them out!!

Have had an old renault for last 2 years...great workkorse.
Going for l1h1 NV400 (shorter but more room wanted h2 but they dont do one over here). they have 5 year warranty though.

Why you getting shut of transit. I've got one and all I hear is grief from other people.

It's a good van to drive and looks good but it's got issues and needs to go in to Ford

The fittings below are for a mixer bar attached to a self contained shower. i.e not a wall. The attaching screws have snapped. I could get two new brackets, dismantle that existing one and start again or I could try and re attach via those screws, removing the broken ones from the plate and wall...
