Previously was an apprentice working for a self employed bloke. Got through one year of my level 2 but work fell short and i have moved onto a company.

Any advice with working for a company? Health and safety seems to be a big thing.

I presume if you dont use PPE such as ear defenders, goggles etc you get into trouble? Can anyone clarify this?

Thanks

If you're working for a firm you have no excuse for not using PPE provided. When you work for yourself and the van is a million miles away, you're not gonna fetch them. If you're on someone elses time, make the most of it :)

As far as working for a company goes, be flexible without letting people take the p, make yourself useful, work out who the people who will stab you in the back just to cover their own shoddy workmanship etc...
