Hi everyone,

I got laid of from my current job as a scaffolder 3 week ago, Its good money (33k last year) but as its contracting im out of work everytime a job ends, and after nearly 2 years its not my thing and dont enjoy it and want a more secure job for when a buying house ect..

I allways wanted to do plumbing as its my thing an would enjoy it, also I've always wanted to work for my self.

Ive been looking at 2 courses..

First 1 with MET-UK in Rotherham
Courses | Electrical, Gas, Plumbing and Renewable Energy Training
Plus the Solar Pv installation
Solar PV Training - Met UK

and the second with new career skills

Can anyone recommend this course, the website doesnt give that much info or price.

Im more intrested in the MET-UK course, as ive read good review although have read might have to find my own company/plumber to be assesed with for NVQ.

Could I set up as a sole trader with theses qualifications?
whats else would i need? Gas safe?

What do you think to these courses any advise or help is much appreciated

thanks
