22mm compression elbow wall plate fixings

Hi guys

Probably something really simple but I'm not a plumber so feel free to take the p

I have a 22mm compression elbow wall plate. (https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/261181101306 )

My 22mm copper pipe fits fine into the bottom of the wall plate. But, I bought a 22mm stop end which I hoped would fit into the out facing part of the elbow. It seems it does not. Is there another option or something I should buy to make this work.

That one will do with a bit of PTFE on the threads it will then cap it off.

But why, what are you trying to achieve ?
