    righto, I dont do much of this, usually stick to heating and boilers but... its my mums place so I better get on ;) her stopcock is wiped onto lead and is leaking and I gotta repair.. I know using a taft or any lead joint etc is a no no now so was planning to use a Philmac universal coupling...

    converting 1" MDPE to 25mm MDPE

    This is a new one to me. House has some MDPE piping dating from mid-eighties which is 1". I've cut into this to install a T but current 25mm fittings won't fit the pipe. I guess old pipe is .4mm too big. Any suggestions as how to convert? Thanks

    Philmac Fittings

    I've just got some 20 &25mm philmac fittings they are not the latest type they don't have the wedges to stop the pipe rotating like the new ones . What I am trying to find out is should they have an O ring in like the new ones do .
