Hi all,

I'm having problem with my shower mixer. I wanted to change the internal mixer by taking it part. However, I don't have the big enough hexagon tool to open it. I searched homebase, B&Q and did not find any. Do you know is there a speicially big hexagon tool to open such a valve? Please see the attached picture.

Hi Anna, if my memory serves me right i think you flick the little round cap off at the front middle, then undo screw and start pulling dials off and dismantling.
 
if its the nipple on top its an allan key think they are 18 mm nut not certainoften available at motor parts shops as sump plug tools
 
I wonder if a universal rad valve spanner would do the trick?
