Hi everyone,

I need some help regarding a new shower system that has just been fitted. I have recently had my bathroom made wheelchair accessible for my disability and I have a Hansgrohe Raindance overhead shower and handheld Hansgrohe Select with an iBox.

I had a close family member install the system as they have already installed one of these systems before.

I went to try it the other day and unfortunately on both options whether the overhead or handheld, the water just trickles out?

My father contacted the help centre for Hansgrohe and they said this is to do with the pressure and having a Combee boiler can limit the pressure.

This is very confusing as I was told when I bought the System that a Combee boiler would-be more than adequate to sustain the correct pressure.

15 mm pipes where used.

Is there anything anyone can suggest what could be the problem?

Also is there any recommendation for a plumber in the Hampshire area that can test water pressure and help the situation?

If anyone needs any more information I will try to be as specific as possible

All the best

Lee

Just bumping the post for Lee.

Anybody around Hampshire willing to test the water pressure?

Never seen a Hans Grove system fitted to a combined boiler any time we ever fitted they always required 3/4 inch independent hot and cold supply's to a twin impeller pump and then to shower check with them what they recommend for your type of shower

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

The fittings below are for a mixer bar attached to a self contained shower. i.e not a wall. The attaching screws have snapped. I could get two new brackets, dismantle that existing one and start again or I could try and re attach via those screws, removing the broken ones from the plate and wall...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...
