Fit it lower and 2x flue bends on top to bring it forward
That’s what I thought but have got another though if that would work.

I wanted to go through the glass panel. I will replace that with non combustible material. It’s just the roof isn’t really a roof of you see the picture it’s like a back board of a cupboard and thin wood with felt. Crumbling already.

Would my idea above work see pictures please?

So are you saying I could run flue like this?
Well, you're one there and only you can accurately judge it, but I think it looks like it won't take much for the roof to come tumbling down- unless they plumb for a new roof as well then you're ok to do your bit and roof to be done later?

They are not planning on doing more than it is needed. I am a little screwed with this one but I would judge that the flue will Ben ok when replacing with a non combustible material.

Why are you screwed? If your not happy or they are dictating to you then walk away.
It’s not like dictating it’s just they haven’t got the money to do the roof.. however would you be happy to run the flue through the glass panel and install another panel?

I cannot find any clearances from the mis over the door. I would run the flue sideways and outside I would use another plume kit that should do shouldn’t it?

How about side flue through the window and a plume kit to take the exhaust away from the door?

Might look funny but I haven’t been there to weigh it up only you know that!
That s the way I was thinking though. I'd like to take the window out and replace with a non combustible material. And then I will use a plume kit to divert the fumes

I’m getting water in my boiler which I think is coming from the flue (pictured). Is it likely that the issue is with the flue itself or the roof junction? I guess if it is the roof then I’m better asking a roofer rather than a heating engineer - right?

My installation has been classed as Dangerous 'Do not use' by my boiler manufacturer. I have an Ideal Logic 30kw Combi boiler mounted as high as can be on the kitchen wall. Flue exits out through the wall via an elbow but emerges above a flat roof. Unfortunately it's somewhat less than the...

Hi guys. How many of you use a roofer to help with vertical flue installations, or do you rather do it yourself?? I’m not one for heights so would rather not if possible.

Hello All, I was hoping you could help with a potential boiler build query for my father. He has recently had a new boiler installed via British Gas (valiant brand). The external boiler flue seems excessively tall, proving to be somewhat of an eye sore (please see pictures attached). I know it...
