I am going to start a new build in the new year and am considering installing underfloor heating on all 3 floors. I have had quotes from Nu-heat and Uponor, the later being more expensive.

Can anyone tell me whether underfloor heating is the way to go as i have only lived with traditional heating rads in all rooms. Also is there a better system over another or things i should look out for?

Thoughts appreciated.

under floor heating can save money as you dont need it as hot as radiators. or the best way to look at it is a radiator heats the coldist part of the room to make the rest feel warm also heat rises so a radiator is keeping the spiders on the ceiling warm. the under floor heating is warming the lower part of the room and it is cooler higher up so you are not wasting the heat. there is a company selling under floor heating on ebay so you can get it cheaper and get a local plumber to fit it
