Friend of mine wants to install wet underfloor heating in an extension. He has a "normal" boiler and radiators.

Can this be done?

Is it economic?

He's been told that he can have a separate zone and thermostat. Will the boiler cycle a lot if this is the only zone active? I'm assuming there will be a blending arrangement?

Any advice?

Thanks

Lee

they do single room kits that will do a medium sized room and use a trv as a thermostat not used one myself
you can also mix rads and ufh on the same system using a manifold and mixer set uptry looking on the polypipe site for more details

Yeah, I see that, but is it efficient?
