Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to this forum. I am moving house in a couple of weeks and wondered if anyone on here is from the Sunderland/Tyneside area who could give me a quote when I move for adding a toilet/handbasin under the stairs space and also doing a job upstairs in the existing bathroom please? Hope this is allowed. Thank you.

If you are doing this, have a look at the range of W.c. And handbasin combined in top of the cistern. I am doing one after Xmas in our ft hall way. Space saving and water saving

I did this myself. It worked out great. In a Victorian terraced house. The toilet is fixed to a small wall - about 4 feet high at the back of the stairs. A new - smaller cupboard was made to fit under the rest of the stairs. I placed a 1200mm shower tray on the kitchen floor just inside the kitchen door and got the builders to build plaster board walls around it. They thought I'd lost my mind. I got them to knock a new door into the middle room or we couldn't get to the kitchen. They complained a lot. They had to take up all the floor boards in the middle room to fit a soil pipe. They didn't like that either. No matter how many times I tried to explain they just shook their heads and said 'I can't see it'.
A door was fitted in the hallway, about halfway along the stairs and a wall built around it. There was loads of room for a wall hung basin on the wall adjacent to the door. It looks great.
We call it 'Harry Potter's Bathroom'. See pics.
