    hi guys. Went out to a faulty fill valve the other day. As it wasn’t shutting off I decided to change it. Flushed the loo a good 4/5 times before leaving and made sure the fill level was an inch below the overflow. Apparently it’s now spilling into the bowl again. Surely it can’t be the new valve. Anyone recognise the flush syphon and advise whether it’s best to change syphon as well? I don’t think it needs changing to be honest.

    Drop valve nact pal , or you may get away with cleaning the seat / seal

    Does it leak with the top off? If not then it could be the height of the flush valve (syphon), if it does the as tfj said the flush valve seal/debris.
