I have seen one. Very clever bit of kit, learns your habits and apparently is very efficient and economical.

Dunno if it has things like wifi connectivity like some of the other newer models.

All in all customer was very very pleased with it but said it took a little getting used to

Two fitted by the spark last week on a heat bank install. They do the job, same as the it500 and bg's hive.

They need power to the little round things or a usb connection.

They've been around in the states for some time, am keen to see one though as far as I can tell homeserve have the installation sewn up for now.

Company is owned by google I believe.

They've been designed around air conditioning in the US so are not optimised for central heating and do not time hot water. I'd stick with an option like the Hive or IQ500 if you want something like this.

Roger everything to do with energy conservation has been around in the states for a while, we are slow to learn here, we are still fitting paraffin filled TRV how sad is that

You say that but they are still fitting cast iron oil boilers in places, direct fired non condensing water heaters are very common.

Yes Roger you are spot on and big gas guzzling cars too, but electronic technology is still moving fast, I think we are catching up and there is some nice gear out there,
the Honeywell stuff is nice, not certain all heating installers will take it on, for some its a bit too much, and its a cut throat market, I think TRV will live a little longer don't you.
