Quick question.

Does anyone know if a speeding ticket picked up in France means your UK licence gets endorsed with points?!

Cheers

Or stop you immediately and relieve you of the cash on the spot for a fine, and if you haven’t got the cash, they will escort you to a cash point

Was accidentally doing 120 in a 110. Thought I Saw the flash. Wasn’t stopped by old bill fortunately. Don’t mind paying the fine just don’t want the points!

No points, but if you are really speeding (+30kmh excess) they can remove your licence at the roadside and you will have to walk unless someone else can drive.

You can still drive again when back in the UK

In a van you might get away with it. I go past cameras a lot on the autoroute at the 130 / 110 limit and it almost always flashes me because it thinks I am a lorry.

Your fine here for that would only be 35€ anyway and 1 point for 6 months.

Sadly been done many times abroad, even in a hire car, where the hire car company kindly paid the fine for me and put it on my credit card. Never any points, just a fine that eventually comes in the post. Just pay it, its a fair cop, lol

I have an ideal vogue max S18 boiler and I’m considering fitting auto balancing TRVs, my question relates to the boilers pump. I see a boiler pump menu for either 70% or 100%, so, is the pump set at either one of two fixed speed percentages or does the pump actually vary speed, (modulate)...

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
