Good morning All,

I am looking for some assistance if I may. Over the past 3 weeks the shower has not been operating correctly. Our shower is downstairs and the Mira pump PPT3 is upstairs. When operating the value on the shower to cold the pump works normally and sounds normal. When changing the operation to hot the pump cuts in and out and so the water pulses fast and slow. The pressure seams low. The hot pressure has always been lower than the cold pressure in terms of the power coming through the shower, however these seems to be worse. When disconnection all the shower piperwork from the hot cold mixer valve so the water is just coming out of the bottom of the valve in the shower the water runs fine, albeit not very powerful but the pulsing is not there. Once I have connected the shower head it runs for a while and then starts pulsing again, like the pressure is not enough. I have cleaned the shower tubes and heads and there is no blockages there.
I have contacted Mira who said it maybe the pump but it also maybe a airlock on the hot feed. I am not sure how to work through this.

I have standard water tank in the loft, with a little tank for the shower with heater tank in the spare bedroom, which runs to the pump in our main bedroom and then from the pump downstairs to the bathroom. I have also noticed that the shower does not appear to get as hot.

Any help, ideas would be appreciated.

Many thanks.
Col.

Hello all, I’m replacing a concrete paving slab patio in the back yard. The original patio used 50mm deep concrete slabs on hardcore & sand. I’m planning to pour a 100mm deep concrete patio on 100mm hardcore. In order to achieve the same final height to line up with the rest of the patio, I...
