hi can someone tell me what qualafactions i need to be able to weld 3" steel gas pipes
 
ICPN1 i think without looking it up.

Why can't they just say first fix commercial pipework NG on the acs stuff

Contact your nearest gas acs centre for details but it depends on the job you are working/planning to work on as 1 mans ticket more than often covers all on bigger stuff.
 
hi i have that it's the welders quals i'm trying to find out do they need asmec 9 or a bs?

Hi have surplus water feed and return pipes in my home. I can't isolate them so will need to freeze. House built 1970's. They're as far as can tell Carbon/mild steel pipe, 28mm dia. Wish to cap them off. Can I use brass compression fittings? Like in the pic. Or do I need to use steel fixings...
