Is this site work in that there are loads of similar properties To do or one off special ? chkingAnyone know a reasonable price for second fixing a new build. It has a cloak room. Main bathroom, ensuite with shower. Kitchen sink and 9 radiators. I find out what there offering tomorrow.
So it’s a winters worth of work and maybe more. When you get used to the layouts each one could be a weeks work + a bit. Are the units advanced enough to ensure continuity ? So you can stay on site continuously.loads of similar properties
I do not work for anyone that tells me a price. Is it for a plumbing stubby for a big builder... if so they normally tell you the price....
Now now , often a price can be agreed and a deal, struck I am pragmatic ChkingI do not work for anyone that tells me a price.
When I work with/for a customer it is exactly that. I expect it to be a mutual agreement.
Man asks woman to go to bed with him for £1m she agrees businessman says now the principle is agreed what shall we agree on price wise ?I do not work for anyone that tells me a price.

Yes Clarky is right we often had to wait 100 days, but I had to payMust admit they treat you really badly, month & a month to pay, then forget, have to wait another month, now over 75k in & still having to get gear from merchants as they wanted the June figures right ...glad I'm out of that side now...
Surely it’s got nothing to do with being faint hearted? You either like it or not and I’m not a fan.Yes Clarky is right we often had to wait 100 days, but I had to pay
Up,to 25 fitters every Friday afternoon , it’s not for the faint hearted centralheatking
£550 a day is pretty goodYou can earn very good money on site doing price work.
I would say that would be worth roughly £550.
We used to build a bank of gear when we could, keep, getting more stuff than we needed and hide it in a roof space , then when gear got low and others went home we would go and dig it out , did not always go to plan but he ho Rob Foster aka centralheatkingI did price work in October for a heating company on price via paye. The builders were awful in organising plots, and worked over 3 different builders 1 nationally and 2 fair size, dreadful!! As I was on price I had to organise and chase delivery’s, as they didn’t have a container for site ie ordered plots for the day but it was a nightmare lost so much money!!!! Never work on site unless you get in writing being paid for waiting around for materials and plots not ready. Waste of time
This againWe used to build a bank of gear when we could, keep, getting more stuff than we needed and hide it in a roof space , then when gear got low and others went home we would go and dig it out , did not always go to plan but he ho Rob Foster aka centralheatking
