Dripbusters Ltd is seeking to recruit an experienced multi-skilled tradesperson. As we are a small business our work is hugely varied and so no two days are the same!
We're aware that we are looking for someone exceptional and so are offering a top salary to match. Being a top tradesperson is important to us, but more than that being a true professional is even more important. The ideal person will be a great role model for the junior staff and apprentices in our business.
Here's the list of essential and desirable competencies applicants will require: -

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES

1.) Able to install all aspects of kitchen and bathroom installations, including plastering, tiling to a high standard and painting plus plumbing and general carpentry. The ideal applicant will be adaptable and easily able to learn new skills as required.
2.) Able to undertake all manner of plumbing and non-gas central heating tasks using copper pipework (we only use plastic pipework where absolutely necessary).
3.) Qualified to NVQ 3 level in plumbing or equivalent experience (5+ years of experience working in the trade ideally please).
4.) Able to efficiently manage time, staff and tools/parts to ensure projects run smoothly and to time and budget.
5.) A high level of honesty and loyalty is required for this role as the successful applicant will have access to the company bank account and will be placed in charge of more junior staff on a regular basis.
6.) A full, clean driving license.
7.) Able to operate professionally, protecting customer's property and always showing our business up in a good light.

DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES

1.) Able to carry out minor electrical work associated with kitchen and bathroom installations.

In return, we are offering a salary in the range of £26,000-£30,000 per annum and a generous 30 days annual leave including bank holidays. As well as being a top tradesperson, this is a supervisor position within a quickly growing small business and so finding the right person is of key importance to us. This job may well lead to further opportunities in the company for the right person.

To summarise, I'm trying to find a knowledgable, experienced, multi-skilled tradesperson who can also be an excellent role model for the younger employees in our small business.

Would be happy to chat with anyone Via private message through this site in the first instance about our job vacancy.

Thanks,

Keiran.

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
