I was wondering if anyone could offer any advice to a fellow plumbing & heating professional.

After establishing our business ‘down south’ we are thinking of relocating to the Shrewsbury area as it looks like a great place to bring up a family, and we are in need of some space to breathe

Before making the move we’d really like to gain some local knowledge from fellow plumbers and heating engineers.

Without wishing to step on your toes or be too intrusive can we ask your honest opinion on working in the area? Are you busy and is there enough business? How was it during the downturn and the last 5 years?

We'd really appreciate any advice you can offer.

Many thanks

Andrew

a good plumber makes his own business ................ it is down to you to drum up the clients, same the world over

What skillset do you have? If its rural then it may be oil heating rather than gas.

We have an all Vaillant setup - an EcoTEC Plus 637 system boiler plus wired VR720 and VR92 SensoCOMFORT controller, driving two CH zones plus DHW. It all works, but unfortunately we have found that the room stats are poorly located, and so the level of control is not what it should be. We had...
