Hi All,

Slightly strange query - there is a strong mouldy/rotting smell that seems to the coming from our boiler. The smell has been around for 2/3 weeks so do not think it is a dead mouse. The smell also slightly comes from the bathroom tap when we turn the hot water on.

From exposing the pipes, the previous owner seems to have put an odour remover in there that would indicate maybe it has previously been a problem.

Any ideas as to what this could be?

Thanks

Well, those Mr Blobby solder joints definitely stink!
Poss. dead animal esp if it only started happening a few weeks ago with no other obvious cause eg. work done.
