Hi,
We're in the process of a kitchen extension - old kitchen was a smaller extension which was demolished and building a new one.

Trying to work out what's going on with the heating so we can add two new radiators, bigger one in new kitchen and a smaller one in utility and toilet. We're got a combi boiler, and what looks to me like a mix of one pipe and two pipe system. I've taken up some floor boards above where the pipes go into the kitchen, and the bedroom radiator is teed of the same pipe - it does have a TRV but not sure if it is a one pipe TRV or not, any way to tell? Further over I can see two radiator pipes off separate pipes, teed off to kitchen and living room radiators.

10mm pipes are going into kitchen now for the old rad (capped off), but I've read that I shouldn't be teeing 10mm for multiple rads, especially as the new kitchen one is a double vertical radiator.

What's the best option here? Easiest obviously to extend the two 10mm in extension, but not sure that is a good idea. Or feed new 15mm pipes into extension and go down to 10mm pipes closer to the radiators?

Thanks

Every two weeks or so I have to go and top up the system because the hot taps are running cold. Boiler display is flashing 0.6 bar and I fill up to 1.3. I've had an engineer look inside the boiler and he can't see anything wrong. I've checked the pipes all over the house and cannot see any...

Hello all, I’m replacing a concrete paving slab patio in the back yard. The original patio used 50mm deep concrete slabs on hardcore & sand. I’m planning to pour a 100mm deep concrete patio on 100mm hardcore. In order to achieve the same final height to line up with the rest of the patio, I...
