im a Gsr and having issues understanding why central heating pressure differential pin does not come up when pump is on on both hot water and heating side.
Have change diverter valve and cleaned sensing pipes and replace plate heat exchanger. Having spent time I realised by filling up pressure above 1.5 bar this then works. Any advise would be appreciated.
Another question is unrelated but genrally when pump comes on the pressure goes up slightly but sometimes in boilers why does pressure drop when pump activates?

second point depends where the pressure gauge is teed into eg before the pump will be neg reading after will be pos etc
