Hello, I need to source the above for my old high level cast iron bell cistern & don't seem able to see any long enough to sit on the internal shelf, whilst reaching through to the flush pipe. Also need a replacement for the side entry valve. Any help appreciated.

The inlet valve looks like a Torbeck, available from most plumbing suppliers, Dudley Hydroflow is what I would use, available from Screwfix.
Try toiletspares.co.uk for the syphon, they sell the replacement membrane for the Metro.

I personally like Torbeck valves, though the Ecofil version is a more robust model, if you have space for it. Or if you just need a new diaphragm for the one you have, they are readily available.

I've got a feeling that Toolstation also does replacement membranes for the Metro at a very reasonable price. At least, I think it used to!

Thanks for the help with this. Having taken the syphon into a plumbing specialist, who contacted the manufacturer, it transpires it is a hybrid made to fit the very old cistern. Part 8.5, part 10.5. Also picked up the Torbeck inlet valve as there isn't sufficient room for any other. Being refitted tomorrow so fingers crossed. Thanks again.

Fluidmaster siphon eg red and black one will fit / match existing siphon
