Hi, I thought I’d post this on the forum here as I appear to have some sort of leakage. This is being a period of over three years
Is this something that I need to get a plumber in or something that I could fix myself by using sealing. Before I get a plumber in it will be useful to know where you think leak will be coming from judging from watermarks on the skirting board thank you advance for any help you can provide

It's difficult to say but almost invariably this is when screen has been fitted before tray is sealed.
There is a gap behind shower screen profile that isn't sealed and any attempt to seal externally will just make a larger area for water to puddle and make it worse.
A shower screen shouldn't be sealed internally as water does get into the edges and is supposed to run out and back into tray.
If this is your issue then screen needs to come out, reseal tray and refit screen with seal on outside edges only.
I charge a days labour and materials so apx £325
You might save £100 or so if you can get a handyman to do it....
It's a chunk I know but I bet that that's your issue.

Ideal Logic 24, Previous problem was that the hot water was only cold or barely warm if the heating was in use. If heating was off and boiler cold then would get hot water most of the time. Changing the flow cartridge about 2 years ago (when I moved in) solved this problem enough to suffer it as...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
