Hello,

I'm reposting as my post was taken down.
I have a double sink in my kitchen that doesn't drain well due to the waste pipe being too high.

Before having the waste pipe moved, which will be a mission, I thought I'd look into all options possible.

Many thanks.

You could try using 2 separate 1"1/2 P traps one with a washing machine spigot that should bring you a lot higher, then tee them behind on the wall, it would also be a good idea to replace that flexi waste with rigid pipe.

Your problem is your waste is upside down! :)

Seriously, I agree with CH4: replace the flexi with rigid and put separate traps on the sinks. I suspect you've also got a high spot on the waste which won't help draining. If the pipe is still too high then you could look at using a waterless trap on a horizontal pipe.

I would employ someone who knows what they are doing.

You said in your first post you had a Plumber do the work.

I would find another one...honestly, the work is done to a very low standard and it doesn't look like there would be too many issues in making the drain correct

Look into the space saving kitchen sink waste drain kits, there much tighter to the bowls & will then give you more space to get the fall !

Thanks very much everyone.

I will have to find someone else as the current person is not keen on making any changes despite having been paid.
Does anyone know where to find a reliable plumber in London, N1 please?

Many thanks in advance.

if you post in the looking for a plumber section there may well be a member on here near to you who can come and sort it for you

ah I see that you already have! well done

Hi, basic question, any insight much appreciated. Looking to have an outdoor tap in my front porch fed from 15mm pex coming up from suspended floor. Pic 1 is inside porch, pex temporarily clipped to give an idea of pipe placement (ignore shoddy blockwork of booted cowboy builder!), Pic 2 is...
