in fact wait until after Easter if you can, then prices fall for all the toys and the boys who install centralheatking

Who's price falls after easter? Overheads don't go down after easter. My food bill, leccy etc don't go down, neither does the price. In fact prices need to go up as everything else is going up so my prices need to reflect that, all year round. In my opinion.

Don't be too mean with the heating periods because the water you draw needs to come out at about 60°C to avoid the risk of legionella. Maybe once a week leave the immersion on for twice your standard length of time to get the tank good and hot.

Make sure your electric heaters are safely positioned so there is no risk of people tripping over them and/or them starting a fire by overheating something close by.

OP. Why not just get it done? You have the heaters in place already. It can be installed quickly. I occasionally find myself in the position where I have to get an installation done quickly as I don't have enough days or its needing done as a matter of urgency. I get my friend who is also GSR and it halves install time when it needs gas line upgrades etc. Price honestly does not go down. School boy error to start reducing price when you are self employed it is a one way street to being a busy fool.

Its quite easy to explain, large installation outfits who have buying power need to keep their fitters on board in the off season , just like the double glazing outfits and will discount
just to tick over , Bg etc do,it , BG always loose their temporary boys after Easter but still need to trade with their retained staff and thats when to negotiate a reduced price for a ch system ..as an end user domestic customer..centralheatking
you just need to look at the wholesale spot market on domestic centralheating boilers around July and August in north Europe for 100+ units for immediate non end user delivery for example
