Have a landlord with no gas and combination tanks with immersions for hot water. He wants to increase the efficiency rating for the house so wants suggestions with replacing these with something else.

Needs to feed a bath can only imagine this taking half hour to fill it unvented
This is what I don't get why he's asking as the tanks are insulated but they are in the loft I suggested wrapping them in another jacket maybe.Knowing how outdated the epc’s are I doubt if anything would help.
Is the existing one ancient , ie. no insulation ?

Yes your right I remember that with the one I rent out . If the property is F/G then they have to bring up to EI maybe wrong but perhaps he has to show the epc as a landlord , most tenants would expect a efficient home .
